DataVision was contracted by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) to offer services of tracking and monitoring for the delivery of books and desks purchased by fund that were available after the price paid by Tanzania government to purchase Radar system from BAE, UK.
The assignment involved the development of a web-based monitoring system to track the delivery of school materials and be able to generate resuts that can assist stakeholders in education sector to easily monitor progress.
The system utilized a mix approaches of web and mobile technologies (Shortcode or Tablet based/ Android applications) in the collect data from primary schools which included physical visits to districts sampled schools or remote feedback
