Maisha Plus – A reality TV Series involving a group of people from different countries are made to reside in a secluded and unknown land (Maisha Plus Village) with no luxury of urban utilities such as power and water which most of contestants are accustomed to. In this unknown village, the contestants are tested upon their ability to live with people from different cultural and ethnical backgrounds and how to survive in this mysterious land by being innovative and entrepreneurial.
DataVision International has been working with Maisha Plus Team side by side to ensure the technical objectives are also reached. Our team provided a data, mobile and web apps which made the voting process from different countries possible. On top of that, we managed to boost the interaction rate between the viewers and the brand through enabling the live SMS streaming (SMS Live), where viewers can broadcast their views during the TV show.
The Maisha Plus Key Account Manager Mr. Emmanuel Kagongo (On the right hand side on the picture) stated that, “On behalf of DataVision International, we are really proud to have finished this project successful. Without the full coordination and team work between both parties, we managed to ensure that the Data, Mobile and Web strategy is in-line with the Maisha Plus objectives which were to enable people to vote and share their thoughts from any country.
The fourth Maisha Plus season managed to pull contributions and votes from different countries within Africa and abroad.
