Discussion on Findings from the Results Data in Health and Agriculture
Development Gateway and DataVision International conducted over 100 semi structured interviews to government officials, donor agencies, NGOs from various hierarchical levels within the agriculture an health sector in Tanzania. The data collection was purely paperless using the in-house CAPI data collection application – Tikiti.
The data collection serves the sole aim of illustrating how higher quality results can be obtained, and to demonstrate immediate, practical applications for each level of results data that can improve government and donor decision making processes.
On 30th June, Development Gateway and DataVision International conducted a dissemination workshop to discuss with the stakeholders the significant findings of the data collected back in January during the interviews.
The event was a success it brought about other subjects which were deemed critical to the overall operations of the stakeholders within their area of profession.
